The Church of Shën Nikollas is located near Palasa beach. The church is dedicated to Shën Nikollas, otherwise known as "Nikollas of Bari", an early Christian bishop of Greek origin from the city of Myra in Asia Minor, in the period of the Roman Empire. As a result of many miracles dedicated to Shën Nikollas, he is known differently as Nikolas the Wonderworker. Nikollas is the saint of sailors, merchants, archers, repentant thieves, children, bachelors and students.
