Dhërmi village is located along the road that comes from Palasa to Himare. The village rises on a mountain slope, in a rugged terrain. Almost all of the houses of the village have a characteristic shape.

The old village carries historical values, which is also shown by the architecture of its buildings. It is mostly noticeable on the 300-year-old cobbled streets or the towers of Kapedan Koçani and Kumijve, with the same seniority. It is also surrounded by many interesting objects such as: Saint Stephen's Church, with a 1200-year history, Saint Mary's 900-year-old Church above the old village; The 300-year-old Church of Saint Theodhos, etc.

In the 90s, there were 36 churches on the village, while today there are 46.

While going down from the village towards the coast, appears the large and wonderful beach of Dhërmi. The clean sea and surrounding greenery are unique. The rocks on the small beaches of Dhërmi are real natural labyrinths that always have something to discover.

With the peninsula of Karaburun in the north, this village is a famous destination both in winter and in summer. This attracts many foreign and local visitors, calling Dhërmi one of the most beautiful and interesting places in the south of Albania.
