Around 35 kilometers from Saranda, in the vicinity of Lukova and Piqeras, is locaed the village of Sasaj. Sasaj is a small village with locally typical homes. The village has a variety of fruit trees, with different types of trees in every house.
The village of Sasaj is located on a hill near the coast. Like most of the villages along the Sarand-Vlor coast, the beach of Bunec and the sea can be seen from there.
A cobbled alley built since the Italian incasion connects the village with the national highway in addition to the major paved road that leads to the village. Most of the village's people have emigrated, mainly to Greece. With a beach, springs, and friendly people, it is still one of the most beautiful coastal areas today.
