Guri i Shenjtë(holy stone), Puke

Guri i Shenjtë is located near the village of Zezaj, 538 m above sea level. It is a polygonal shaped granite stone. His legend connects him with Skanderbeg. Some other legends connect Saint Paul's Stone with our national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti, who tell that when the Ottomans invaded Arbëria, Gjergj Kastrioti with his army, after a war against them, rested at this stone.

What is important is that this stone has been preserved as sacred among the Pukjans for tens of centuries. It is closely related to the spirit of the inhabitants, autochthony, love for the country and their faith. To visit Guri i Shenjtë, follow the rural road Pukë - Zezaj.
