Reivews 0

Vasha Bridge, a cultural and architectural gem situated between Klos and the village of Guri i Bardhë on the Mat River, boasts a rich history and stunning natural surroundings.

Constructed in the early 18th century by Haxhi Hajrulla Skura, the bridge serves as a testament to charity and community service. Made of limestone mortar stones, it stands as one of Albania's oldest bridges, featuring unique architectural details such as an arched starboard side and a bay window.

Measuring 11 meters in length, 7 meters in height from the water's surface, and 2.8 meters in width, the bridge is supported by double abutments and legs anchored on rocky banks. Its surface is paved with cobblestones, enhancing both aesthetics and accessibility.

A favorite spot for tourists, including those from the Czech Republic, Vasha Bridge holds cultural significance as a designated Cultural Monument since 1983. With its distinctive features and picturesque location amidst Albania's natural beauty, it continues to captivate visitors seeking to immerse themselves in the country's heritage.
