Gradishta Castle is located near Barmash village. The castle is a cultural monument of the early iron period and a castle of the 5th-6th century AD. On the top of Gradishta, the Illyrian-Roman horse that bears the same name as the hill was built. This castle has played an important role in guarding the caravans on the Këlcyre - Langarica Gorge - Barmash - Erseke - Voskopoje route. In this fort, it managed to shelter up to a garrison of soldiers and served as a shelter for the inhabitants of the village and as an obstacle for the Roman armies that came from the pass to conquer the Byzantine cities and its big centers.
