Reivews 0

The Church of All Saints is located in the old part of the city of Himara, next to the main road SH8 between Himara and Dhërmi.

The church was built 300 years ago and belongs to the heritage of the Albanian Autocephalous Orthodox Church. The Church of All Saints belongs to the 18th century, and is one of the main churches of Himara village. It is a three-sided basilica, covered with a flat ceiling. Two longitudinal arches on stone columns separate the naves from each other. In the southwest corner of the church yard rises the high bell tower. Its old iconostasis was unique, produced only for that church.

The church has a large bell tower which has often served as a reference point for travelers. The church holds in itself architectural and historical values, reviewed with great care during the complete restoration in the 90's.

It was reopened to the public after the restoration of its interior, its magnificent bell tower, iconostasis, carved ceiling and wall paintings.

"Agioi Pandon-Himarro" and the date of the reconstruction are engraved on the northern gate.
