Konispoli lies in a valley at an altitude of 400 m above sea level, in the southernmost tip of Albania. The total surface area is 221.88 km² and the population reaches 13,737 inhabitants. Konispoli is bordered by Shalesi and the mountain of Saraqindi in the north, with Lopės (the village of Çameria) in the south, with Vërva and Dishat in the east and with the Çiflik range in the west.

In addition to emigration, thanks to the geographical position, the population of Konispol deals with agriculture, fruit growing and livestock. The customs border point of Qafë Bota remains a gateway to the city, which welcomes not only immigrants from Greece but also tourists, with the desire to get to know this small country, with many archaeological objects and historical monuments.
