Vokopola Bridge is an outstanding monument of cultural heritage in the city of Vokopola, in the district of Berat. This particular bridge is a testament to the Ottoman period and has tremendous historical and architectural significance. Its official approval on "08.01.1977" confirms the importance given to it at the national level.

The bridge is located over the Čorrogjafi stream, near the source known as "Black Water". It is considered that it was built during the period of Ali Pasha Tepelena and served as an important point in the connection of the Osum valley with the Vjosa valley. The road that passed through this area connected the city of Berat with Tepelena and further with Ioannina, passing through important villages such as Vokopolë, Çorrogjaf, Qafa e Gllavë, Luftinje and Memaliaj.

Vokopola Bridge stands out for its special architecture. It is a bridge built mainly of stone, with a large vault, a circular segment and two discharge windows that give it an impressive appearance. With a width of 43 meters, this bridge spans the road used in historical times to connect towns and villages in the area.

The structure of the bridge includes three arches and two arches, making it one of the largest and most monumental bridges in this region. The cobblestone of the bridge is made of carefully placed black stone slabs, while the vault is built with two rows of stones.

Vokopola Bridge is a gem of cultural heritage and a symbol of historical and cultural ties in the Berat area. The preservation of this monument is essential to keep alive the memories and history of the past in this beautiful region of Albania.
