Teqeja e Helvetive in Berat is an architectural construction that stands out for its beauty and complexity. This tekke, which has a long and interesting history, is a 15th century monument in the city of Berat.

Teqeja was rebuilt by Ahmet Kurt Pasha in the late 1870s and is now a prominent part of the cultural landscape in the city of Berat. Located to the east of the King Mosque and surrounded by a courtyard, it is characterized by rich architecture and careful design.

This complex consists of several main elements. The prayer hall is a large space for worship located in the center of the complex. The surrounding courtyard and the other mansions around it complete a structure that is harmonized and integrated with the environment.

The prayer hall has a mafil-balcony on the north and east sides, which adds an aesthetic and functional element. Its curved quarter-circle ceiling decorated with paintings is a valuable artistic and culturally important activity. This detail shows dedication to detail and passion for aesthetics.

Beyond the prayer hall, there is also the burial mausoleum of the Pasha and his son, which adds an intricate and historical dimension to the complex. Around the complex, two closets on the eastern wall and a vestibule connected to a small auxiliary enclosure point to the practices and needs of the worshipers in this holy place.
