Preza Mosque, Vora

The Preza Mosque is located in the northwest of Tirana, inside the Preza Castle. The mosque is a typical example of a modest shrine in a residential center. It is thought to have been built around 1528-1547, originally as a shrine for the Ottoman garrison and surrounding families.
The researcher Aleksandër Meksi in the book Mosques of Albania writes that: The mosque is a simple building covered with a roof, which preserves traces of three reconstructions. The building has a rectangular shape, on the west side is the entrance to the hall, while on the southeast is the minaret. The mosque has a magnificent view from all directions. by believers but also by tourists who go to Preza Castle.
