Church of Zoja Shna Prende, Puka

The Church of Zoja Shna Prende is located in the village of Kryezi. It is a very old church, with strong faith and which has become a salvation for many people and in many generations.

Traditions are told about the church, which are echoes and beliefs of its antiquity. The church was closed in 1967 and a short time later it fell into disrepair, and its foundations were destroyed with a tractor, cutting down the large oak trees.

- It is believed that two carved stone corners of the door have been preserved by the believers: one with the Cross and the other with the ancient sign practiced by Christianity in the form of X, a letter that coincides with the first letter of the last name of Jesus Christ (Xristo). In the summer of 2008, work began on the reconstruction of this small but large church from the consecration.

From the year 1932, we have a note from Father John Karma, about this church: In the Gegaj neighborhood, there is the Church of the Holy Mother, with an occasional altar, surrounded by tall and old oaks. For the Feast of this Goddess, they light candles and have dinner for friendship.
