The Church of Saint Kolli is located in the center of Voskopoja, near Korca. The church is a monument of cultural heritage, type "Architecture", approved in March 1948 and September 1971. Its typology is a church, built around 1721.
It is an Orthodox church and most important for its architecture with all the elements of the post-Byzantine period and the quality of the painting, which has survived to this day. The structure consists of a basilica-type stone building with a domed nave, narthex, vestibule and bell tower. Mainly the decoration inside the church started to be painted around 1726, by David Selenica, one of the best masters of the XVIII century. His style belongs to the traditional school of art of the Palaeologists, known as the Macedonian school.
The church underwent restoration in 1962. Mainly in the part of the arcade, in its consolidation, from a serious damage it suffered due to a powerful earthquake in 1960. The Church of Saint Kolli also represents a tangible evidence of historical importance of Voskopoja. Today some of the original icons are an integral part of the "Museum of Medieval Art" in Korça.
