Shen Kolli Church, Perondi

The Church of Shen Kolli was built in the 11th century in Perondi village, some 18 kilometers north of Berat. Since its establishment in Albania, the church has been regarded as a Byzantine landmark. It features three naves, a wooden roof, and a vault over the altar.

The church was expanded in the second era to include the narthex and bell tower, as well as the enclosure with the cloister. It was reconstructed in 1786, as was the roof, and then restored again in 1931 by Institute of Monuments professionals. And why were some renovations done, the church shows its age.
