Church of the Holy Monastery of Saint Gjergj, Finiq

The Church of the Holy Monastery of St. Gjergj is located on a low slope, at the entrance to Leshnica e Sipiërme, in Finiq. The church consists of the main room, the temple, the outer narthex and the apse that extends from the temple.

The walls of the church are built with irregular stones and lime while the frescoes of the temple were made by the hagiographer of Dropulli Ilia Logoviti, in 1525. These frescoes remain a precious value and among the oldest in the entire region of Epirus.
