The Clock Tower is located in the center of the city next to the Mosque of Kaplan Pasha, Mosque of Kubielies. It is known as the highest clock tower in Albania. This object dates back to about 200 years ago. The tower is a cultural heritage monument in Kavaje, approved in October 1948. It was built in 1817 by Ibrahim bey Alltuni and the builders were three brothers from Bardhora.
It is made of pumice stones and accompanied by carvings. In the part inside it there are a pair of wooden stairs, while in its upper part there is a sundial, accompanied by the sound of the bell. The tower stands out for its architectural values, the ornamental decoration created by the white and green stones and remains a historical object to be visited by local and foreign tourists.
