Guri i Mëngjesit( Morning Stone), nestled in the Shishtavec mountain range near the Albania-Kosovo border, is a significant landmark renowned for its stunning landscape. Standing tall at 1940 meters above sea level, it offers breathtaking views of Sharri, Gjallica, Koritnik, Korabi, and Kallabak mountains, as well as the vast alpine pastures of Southeastern Europe along The Path of Colors.

The ascent to Guri i Mëngjesit begins from Shishtavec village, spanning 6 kilometers through forests and pastures, showcasing the region's famed potato fields and vibrant spring flowers. Notably, the path boasts the endangered Albanian lily. While the journey is generally moderate, caution is advised in winter due to icy conditions.

This moderately challenging climb covers a total distance of 12 kilometers round trip, with an elevation gain of 600 meters. It typically takes 5-6 hours and is suitable for physically fit individuals. Accessible by paved roads, Shishtavec welcomes all types of vehicles.
