Seta Gorge, located in the narrowest and deepest part of the middle sector of the flow of the river Sete (tributary of the Black Drin), offers an extraordinary natural and scientific experience for visitors. This gorge is located at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level and represents a canyon formed by Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic limestones.
Seta Gorge, was created through the erosive activity of the Sete river, a left tributary of the Black Drin river. With a length of about 1.5 kilometers, a depth of about 150 meters, and a width that varies from 4 to 7 meters, Seta Gorge presents a spectacular sight. The steep walls and the depth exceeding 90-100 meters add to this canyon a rare beauty.
The canyon has an excellent karst appearance and is part of the karst ecosystem, offering a rich biological diversity. Here visitors can see unique geological formations and experience the harmony between nature and deep relief.
