Saint Pali's Cathedral is a cultural heritage monument in Tirana. This monument is of the "Architecture" type, approved in March 2007. Its typology is a church, built in the XX century.
The cathedral was built at the end of 2001 and is one of the largest and newest cathedrals in Tirana. Its name recalls the Apostle Pali as the first evangelist of the Albanian lands, in 52 AD. In a letter addressed to the Romans, Saint Pali declares that: he took the holy word from Jerusalem and around to Illyria. Inside the cathedral there is a monument to Mother Teresa and that of Pope John Paul II.
