Palace of Congresses, Tirana

The Palace of Congresses is located on Boulevard Dëshmorët e Kombit, in Tirana. The palace was designed in the early 80s, while the works for its construction lasted four years from 1982 to 1986. The construction of the building is inspired by the traditional buildings of Gjirokastra, Berat and the tower of northern Albania. The Palace of Congresses is 70 m long and 18-23 m high. The capacity of the main hall has a capacity of 2100 seats.
The palace also consists of three smaller halls, designed as premises: for business meetings, gatherings, forums or other events like these. Festivals, conferences, trade fairs, ceremonies, concerts and other events take place in the Palace of Congresses.
