Delvina Castle is built on a strategic location that has a view on Vurgu of  Rzoma in the west, Muzina Pass and Drinis Valley in the east, and is surrounded by two streams on one side.

Delvina Castle is a cultural heritage site in Vlora. This monument is of the "Archaeology" type, approved in May 1970. According to historical data, based on construction techniques, this castle dates from the XI-XII centuries and its area is 0.17 ha.

The fortress consisted of a castle and a western rampart. The castle itself was semi-elliptical in the west-east direction and fully utilized the natural protection of the landscape. It was protected at the west end by a hexagonal tower, and the wall extended from the north side to the entrance of the castle. In the south, the wall follows the shape of the slope.

The frontal wall suffered a break and was protected by two side towers, forming a defensive complex. The overall defense of the castle represents a unique case for the area.

Studies have revealed three construction phases for the castle and three towers can be distinguished.

• The first tower is preserved in the foundation, (it has the shape of a semi-ellipse).

•The second tower has the shape of an irregular circle.

•The third tower has the shape of an irregular hexagon.

At the entrance, two parallel corridors are created, this gives the possibility to communicate between the castle and the receiving wall without going outside the corridor. Also in the grounds inside the castle, there were ruins of buildings such as of a mosque, a stele and two underground warehouses, covered with a cylindrical vault.
