The Church of Shën Ilisë is located about 1.5 km from the beach of Drimadhe, next to the main road, very close to the village of Gjileka. Shën Ilia of Enna, born in Enna of Thessaloniki on 17.08.903, is honored as a saint by the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church.

Ilia is also known as Shën Ilia the Younger (junior), to distinguish him from the biblical prophet Ilia. He lived a very adventurous life during the 9th century. The church is open for all religious ceremonies held by the believers of the village and beyond.
