Çajupi Pass is located on the ridge of Lunzhëria mountain, 1536 m above sea level, in Zagori. It represents a complex neck from the genetic point of view: tectonic and karst. The Çajup Pass is about 900 m long and about 500 m wide.
On its eastern side is the Çajup karst plain, in which a special ecosystem of mountain heights appears. It has a healthy climate and air, cold and crystal-clear water, a diverse living world of flora and fauna.
Spring water and rainfall, especially heavy snow, accumulates on the surface, creating wetlands. It also forms a small lake in the rainy season, which dries up only in very dry summers. Migratory waterfowl also winter in these wetlands. Çajup's pass for the way it was formed and its ecosystems carries touristic, scientific, ecological, didactic, cultural values.
