Manastir Beach

The beach of Manastir is located about 8 km from Saranda, on the Saranda-Butrint National Road. The beach got its name from the Monastery of St. George, which is located on the hill above this beach. Near the beach of Manastir there is also the wall of Dema, the protective wall of the ancient city of Butrint.

The beach is small, about 75 m long and 15 m wide. The coast is mainly white pebbles mixed with a little sand, with blue and crystal clear water. It can be reached with a small vehicle, for the very strait that the road has and you can park on the side of the road, right next to the beach.

There is a restaurant that serves seafood, fresh fish and of course the typical food of the area. Near this beautiful beach and away from the noise of the city, a campsite has been built for all those vacationers who want to experience crazy adventures.
