Ana e Mali or Anamali, is a geographical and ethnographic region divided between Albania and Montenegro, respectively between Shkodra and Ulcinj. The total area is over 41.8 km². The various historical events that accompanied the Albanian people in different periods were undoubtedly enriched on the Mountain Side, where the climax reached the separation from the Great Powers of the Albanian territories in 1913. of Mali was divided into two parts: On the side of the Mountain, which lies within the territory of Albania, and on the other side of the Mountain, which is located within the territory of Montenegro.

Ana e Mali lies to the east with the Buna river, to the west with the Megjureç river, to the north under the slopes of the Kraja and Tarabosh mountains, and to the south with Lake Shasi. The area has plain terrain alternating with hilly-mountainous terrain. The average height of the relief ranges from 4 m to 500 m above sea level. The area is characterized by a mild, warm and more humid climate, favoring the cultivation of different agricultural crops such as Mediterranean and traditional ones. The inhabitants, mainly based on tradition, are engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry as well as trade, but unfortunately less and less every day. In this area, the formation of microclimates is also characteristic, especially near the banks of the Buna River and Lake Shasi.
