The Mosaic of Lin is located in the village of the same name Lin, in Pogradec. The mosaic is a cultural monument, its typology is mosaic, built in the second half of the 13th century.
Its discovery, during the excavations carried out in 1969, indicated an Illyrian settlement belonging to the Iron Age and dating back to the early Middle Ages. From the discovered mosaics, the property stands out with a varied zoomorphic, plant and geometric decor and with outstanding artistic values. The colorful mosaic has ornaments of animals, plants and geometric figures, where cult symbols predominate.
The Mosaic of Lini has undergone interventions mainly in reconstruction and cleaning, returning it to its beauty, as one of the places protected by UNESCO.
