Saint Ndout Church is situated on the Adriatic coastline in the area of Durrës, specifically positioned between the Rodon and Lalzi bays to the north. The XIII century Church of Saint Ndout is an emblem of cultural legacy, characterized by a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles.

The church gained significant notoriety during the Middle Ages, partly attributed to Skenderbeu's architectural additions to the Cape region in the 15th century. The single-aisled basilica type is the architectural style of the church, which comprises of three sections: The entrance hall, the main hall, and the holy section at the end. The utilization of the  clausonage technique and incorporation of similarities with Byzantine churches were utilized in the building process, indicating the continuation of the Byzantine tradition.   Similarly, the construction design exhibits features of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles, including pointed arches.

A fresco has been uncovered during recent construction at the church, revealing the image of a young girl atop a horse alongside an eagle bearing two crests. The dimensions of the church walls are 14 by 16 meters. The Church of Saint Ndou is a highly popular tourist destination because of its  historical significance, stunning scenery and strategic location in Albania.
