Nestled in the northernmost reaches of Albania lies Vermoshi, a quaint village brimming with cultural heritage and natural splendor. Part of the Kelmendi Municipality, it beckons travelers seeking to immerse themselves in ancient traditions and breathtaking landscapes.

The journey from Shkodra to Vermoshi is an adventure in itself, winding through dramatic landmarks like the Rrapshi pass and the Tamara bridge over the Cemi river. The village, cradled by the river Vermoshi and surrounded by majestic peaks, offers stunning mountain views.

With a history dating back to antiquity, Vermoshi holds significance as the site of the Treaty of Lezha, signed by Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu in 1444. Despite changes during the communist era, Vermoshi now thrives as a tourist destination, showcasing its rich heritage through cultural events like "Logu i Bjeshkeve", a traditional costume competition.

While once home to 1,300 residents, many have since emigrated, particularly to the United States. Today, Vermoshi's population stands at 530, but its allure remains undiminished. Visitors can partake in a plethora of nature and adventure activities, from mountain climbing to skiing on natural slopes, offering a unique opportunity to experience the culture, history, and natural wonders of northern Albania.
