Kamenica Tumulus is a prehistoric settlement. The tumulus is a monument of cultural heritage in Korça, type "Archaeology", approved in September 2008. It is one of the largest tumulus in relation to the other 200 excavated mounds in Albania and other neighboring areas of the Balkans and beyond. The central grave with which the construction of this tumulus begins, belongs to a dead man in his forties. This tomb belongs to the late bronze period, around the 13th century BC.

Its operation lasted until the middle of the 6th century BC, a history of almost 700 years. Unlike other tumuluse of this type excavated in Albania, which had central graves - the central grave of the Kamenica tumulus is limited by two concentric circles, with a diameter of 13 m. In the area inside this ring, during the late bronze period 1200 - 1050 BC, another 40 graves were placed. In the second period of use of the mound, during the Early Iron period 1050-750 BC, it was elevated through another 200 burials covered with earth, until it took a hemispherical shape, with a diameter of 50 m, and a height of about 3 m. . In the third period of use of the tumulus, during the second half of the 7th century BC, several circular or semi-circular monumental structures were built, inside which individuals with gender relations were buried.

At the end of the excavation, 400 graves, skeletal remains of 430 individuals and more than 3500 archaeological objects such as ceramics, weapons and various ornaments from bronze, iron, silver, gold, amber and bone. All the structures of the monumental tombs of this mound were discovered, have been preserved with the aim of turning them into a monument that can be visited in nature.
