Syri i Shegani is located near the village of Kosan, in the Great Highlands, near the eastern border of Shkodra. It is a large karst source, which emerges vertically in the tectonic-karst cracks and is connected to two other sources of this type. The source is at a height of 6 m above sea level. The spring water is clean and cold, as if it flows from the Western Albanian Alps.
