Jul Cezar Trail, Llogara

The Jul Caesar Trail is a new tourist attraction that connects Llogara National Park and the Caesar Monument. The path is an old road that connected the city of Himara with the city of Vlora and was used by the Roman army in the first century BC.

This path comes from a history of thousands of years. Caesar managed to pass through this path, setting up his camp, to fight his famous battles with Pompey in Old Oricus. The view at Cezar Pass is amazing, there you can see the diversity of the grasslands in the part of the Karaburun Managed Reserve, the part of the Orikum Lagoon, the Karaburun-Sazan National Park and Sazan Island. The path is visited every day by local and foreign tourists, who enjoy nature, quench their curiosity and learn about the history of this path full of magic and adventure.
