Wolf Cave

Train Cave is located in the western part of Prespa e Vogël lake, in Devoll. It is otherwise known as "Gryka e Ujkut" and inside it are carved wonderful prehistoric wall paintings, mainly with hunting scenes.

The cave is a cultural heritage monument in Tren, Devolli. This monument is of the type "Archaeology", approved in January 1963. It was a prehistoric settlement of ancient man, from the early Neolithic to the Iron Age, from 6000 BC.

Archaeologists say that: Treni cave and the surrounding area has been the object of archaeological excavations and expeditions since 1966, discovering valuable objects in it. Inside the cave during the summer you can find: colonies of 2000-2500 bats, insect species and other invertebrates , characteristic of dark caves.

Train Cave remains a historical heritage value in the southeast region, for its historical and natural values. It is visited by many tourists and those curious about nature and history.
