Shpella e Qytezës(Qyteza Cave) Dibër

The Qyteza Cave, also known as Kepi i Xhiteti and Kodra e Nullave, is a natural and cultural asset located east of the city of Peshkopia, near the village of Bellovë, in the municipality of Melan in Dibër. Its location, 1400 meters above sea level, makes it an attractive destination for those who wish to explore the mountainous area of Albania.

The cave is a karst cave, formed in the gypsum of the Upper Permian and the Lower Trastic. The horizontal structure of the cave and the lack of a thorough exploration make it an attractive challenge for nature explorers. The known part of the cave is over 10 meters long, up to 2 meters wide and 2-3 meters high.
