Shkalla e Tuajnit(Tujan Stairs),Tirana

Shkalla e Tuajnit is located in the Tirana river valley. It  has the shape of an interesting canyon. On its steep slopes there are rocks, karst caves that make it a karst ecosystem. Since the ancient period, the road of great importance for the whole of Central Albania has passed along the Shkalla e Tuajnt, which connected: Durrës and Tirana with the Great Dibra and further with the interior of the Balkans. This monument remains to be visited by all those tourists who are lovers of mountain climbing on steep slopes as well as exploring caves.
