Reivews 0

The river Semani ranks second in length among all the rivers in Albania, following closely behind Drin. The merging of Osum and Devolli rivers initiates in Arrez village and culminates at the south side of Karavastasa lagoon as it flows into the Adriatic Sea. The Gjanica river, which passes through the city of Fier, converges with the Seman river prior to their combined journey towards the sea. The Seman's primary affluent is the River Devoll originating from the southeastern Morava Mountains' foothills.

The river spans over a distance of 281 kilometers and covers a catchment area of 5,649 square kilometers while maintaining an average altitude of 863 meters above the sea level.

The Seman water basin comprises a grand total of 211 reservoirs specifically for irrigation purposes.
