Pustec

Pusteci is located at the northeastern end, 25 km from the city of Korça. Pusteci is bordered to the west by Pogradec and Maliq, to the northwest and east by the Republic of Macedonia, and to the south and southeast by Greece. The total area is over 1363.8 ha, with a population of 5345.
The new municipality of Pustec is the former municipality of Liqenas, the official name that was used in the period 1973-2013. The Pustec area coincides with the Prespa lake watershed, which has the status of the Prespa National Park, an internationally protected area. Most of the villages lie on the edge of the lake and around it. The style of housing construction is the same, one or two-story houses in uniform with each other, with porches and mostly white facades.
