Preze Village, Vore

Preze village is located in the north-west of Tirana. Preza is known as one of the earliest villages of the capital, known as the city of Phoenix due to the destruction and reconstruction throughout the centuries. The surface of total area is 26.27 km2, with a population of 7,570. At the time of the kingdom around 1938, Preza was treated as a historical and touristic place. Preza occupies an important place in the historical, regional and national heritage with the historical Castle, with its walls, ramparts, turrets, clock tower and thousand-year-old well. The researcher Th.Ippen also considers Preza an old town, stating that: the Roman coastal road that came from Lissus, Lezha and continued towards Durrës passed through Preza.
The main economic development has been agriculture and animal husbandry. Preza with its beauty has attracted the attention of everyone who has visited it. The predominant landscape is agro-agricultural with a combination of fields, fruit plantations and olive groves.
