Pheasant forest is located in Maliq, Korça. The forest has an area of 45 ha, created on the former swamp. It is a protected area and has the status of a natural monument.
This reserve is positioned in the triangle formed by the confluence of the Dunavec and Devoll rivers. It is a mostly coniferous forest. The Pheasant forest got its name from the 50 pheasants that are its inhabitants. In this forest, cutting, using it without criteria and illegal hunting of pheasants and roe deer is prohibited. The Pheasant Forest remains a good option, a tourist attraction for all those visitors who love greenery and fresh air.
