Reivews 0

At an altitude of 1800 - 1990 meters above sea level, near the village of Kimez, in the municipality of Qafë - Mali of the district of Puka, there is a karst landscape rich in pits, funnels, and karst wells. This area is formed by the dissolving activity of waters on the limestone rocks of Mount Munella. In addition to woody vegetation, this area also has herbaceous vegetation and numerous meadows, which extend into alpine pastures.

The underground karst has not yet been explored, however, karst wells show the presence of snow even during the hot summer. This area has high scientific values such as geomorphological, speleological, and geological. In addition, it offers didactic, aesthetic-tourist and economic values. It can be visited by following the route Fushë Arrës - Kimez - Mali i Munella.
