Mollas village is located in the northern part of Erseka, in Kolonje. The village is bordered by the Erseke Center Municipality to the south, Gramoz mountain to the east and Çlirim Municipality to the west.
Mollas village was established on July 26, 1992 and has a population of 4056 inhabitants. Mollas lies on the plateau of Kolonje at an altitude ranging from 850 to 1,200 m above sea level, while the maximum altitude reaches 1,750 m on the mountain of Gramoz. The climate is Mediterranean, with a dry summer and cold winter with abundant snowfall and rain.
The economy is based on agriculture and livestock. Arable land occupies a surface of 1,867 ha, of which land planted with arable plants, fruit trees, vineyards and the rest is unproductive which serves as pasture for livestock. Cattle, small cattle, bees and poultry are raised in Mollas.
