Krrabë Drowning Cave, Tirana

Drowning Cave is located near Krraba, in Tirana. The cave has its own uniqueness, with a diversity of stalactites and stalagmites, which differ in both shape and color. The colors that characterize it are crystal white, red and brown, mixed in a stunning sight. It is thought that its name comes: from the stones that have fallen from the mountain, occupying its very small entrance. While actually inside it immediately after the entrance, the real height of the cave emerges. The cave is about 160 m deep and up to 15 m high. The cave remains to be visited by nature lovers and local visitors, during their tourist trips, near the capital.
