Golem Beach, Kavaje

The beach of Golem is located between the Kavaja Rock and ends up to the discharge of the Leshniqe stream, in a length of 5 km. The beach of Golem is the second in size, after the beach of Durres.
The protective belt of man-planted pine forest has created a highly functional forest environment of 205 ha, which greatly enhances the values of this beach. Fauna enlivens this area, with elements of dunes and forest. Among the most mentioned are: wild hare, lala bride, common frog, common turtle. While in the forest grow: woodpecker, laraska, nightingale, picaloshe weevil, etc. The seashore has white and clean sand, the blue sea, together with the evergreen pine trees creates a very attractive and pleasant tricolor harmony. Golem with contemporary bars, restaurants and hotels, with varied meat and fish gastronomy has been and remains a very frequented destination in every period of the year.
