Tushemisht Village

Tushemisht village is located in Buçimas, about 45 km from Pogradec. Tushemishti together with the city of Pogradec constitute the center of tourism on the Albanian part of the coast, on Lake Ohrid. In Tushemisht we also have Drilon, which is a natural water source of the river with the same name. Driloni is a wonderful natural monument with greenery, waters, tranquility and rare beauty.

Inside the village of Tushemisht there are old houses and the church of Saint Pandelimon. Among other things, an attraction that leaves an impression is the house of "Teto Ollga", along with the bust built in honor of the actress, Violeta Manushi. This area is known for its natural beauty, for the diverse cuisine it offers, where the housewives prepare winter delights such as: jams, sweets and handicrafts, which are another miracle from the hands of the ladies of the area.

Tushemishti beach is long and flat. It has long attracted summer vacationers, who mostly stay in private houses in Tushemisht and Drilon. Along the length of the beach there are small hotels, restaurants and bars to accommodate and meet the demands of the many visitors who choose to rest there. This tourist village with hospitable houses remains to be visited as a very attractive experience for both local and foreign vacationers.
