Dardha Village

The village of Dardhë is located 19 km southeast of Korça. The beauty of the natural surroundings and peacefulness are what this village is renowned for. Dardha, similar to numerous other villages situated in the southeastern region of Albania, boasts unique dwellings constructed with stone slabs, cobblestone streets, artistically adorned gates, and flowery courtyards. 

Dardha today has its own museum that anyone can visit. Built by the Dardhars themselves in the school they once built at their own expense, the immigrants of this village who migrated to America, this museum impresses you with what it presents, a very advanced Albanian society. There you can find the well-known figures of our science, education, independence movement, all fields of culture, etc. A rare natural monument that must be visited is the 120-year-old Vishnja Fir.

For all skiing enthusiasts, one of the most attractive winter spots in the village has a ski slope. As for all those who are interested in nature, Dardha will not disappoint you with its miracles.
