Baldushk is a village 15 km southwest of Tirana, covering over 31.5 km² with a population of 5,267. It borders Vaqarri to the north, Bërzhita and Petrela to the east, Peqin to the south, and Peza and Kavaja to the west.

  • Koçaj Discovery: Traces of a 1st-century AD dwelling, including ceramic fragments and kitchen utensils, indicate a rural settlement.
  • Ancient Sculptures: Two marble plinths with carvings of horses and a boy from the 2nd century AD were found and are now in the National Archaeological Museum.
  • Roman Sculptures: In June 2010, five Roman sculptures, used as grave covers from the 3rd-4th century AD, were discovered.

Baldushk has a Mediterranean climate, featuring plains, hills, slopes, and valleys, and is crossed by the Zhullima stream. Its forests include species like oak and juniper, with a 770 ha area of Mediterranean pine.

The area is known for organic vegetable production, fruit, and olive groves. The village celebrates a "Day of Turkeys" before year-end holidays, attracting consumers. Notable sites include the picturesque villages of Mumajes Kodër and Shpat, Mamica's historical tap, a 30 m deep cave, and the old church of Saint Mary in Kakunjë. Baldushk offers diverse tourist attractions including nature and agrotourism.
