Dragot Bridge

Dragot Bridge is an important reference point in the history of engineering and architecture in Albania. It is located on the Vjosa River, one of the largest and most beautiful rivers in the country. The history of the construction of the Dragot Bridge dates back to 1936, when it was built by the Italian firm ANASALDO, with the funds of the Albanian Government. The construction of this bridge is an example of genuine cooperation between Albania and Italy at that time.

In addition to its engineering significance, the Dragot Bridge is also a cultural monument, which has been declared a Category II Cultural Monument. This status gives additional importance to this structure and makes it attractive for tourists and for those who want to learn more about the history and architectural heritage of Albania.
