What to visit in Qeparo?

The village of Qeparoi is located between Porto Palermo and Borsh.

The whole village has beautiful views and traditional architecture. The cobbled streets and old churches form a wonderful panorama.

The Cultural Heritage objects that you can visit in Qeparo are:

1. Karos Castle,
2. Minella Gjoka's building.

The cult objects that can be visited are:

1. Shën Nikollë Church,
2. Church of Shën Mitrit, from 1760 (Byzantine style, with great value for its wooden iconostasis).

In the small bay there is the Ancient Pier, (a wall of stone blocks) Frengu Cave and Hunda e Madhe.

They include a sea space with calm natural pockets for anchoring ships since ancient times.

The bay is closed by the hill of Suga and the mountain of Kukum, on top of which there is an old fortification that archaeologist Jano Koci considers to be 4000 years old.

The public and still unexplored beaches that you can visit in Qeparo are:

2. Skalome Beach, special for its fine sand and shallow sea.
