The Qafë Shtamë Nature Park is located about 25 km northeast of the city of Kruja, near the municipality of Culli. Qafeshtama with a height of 1230 m serves as a connecting bridge between the area of Kruja and the valley of Mati in the north.
Qafshtames Park was established in 1996. It has a beautiful mountain landscape consisting mainly of pine forests, several small lakes and large springs.
The area is bordered by the Bovilla lakes in the south. Also, its springs are known for their curative values, such as the " Nënës Mbretëreshë ", located about 1100 m above sea level. The water of Qafeshtama springs is estimated to be rich in magnesium. Kroi is part of the list of Albanian natural monuments (hidomonuments).
Since the time of the dictatorship, the camp in Qafshtama has served as a destination for the treatment of various lung diseases. Recently, the park has attracted many visitors from inside and outside the country who are also passionate about hiking.
