Tomorri National Park lies on Tomorri mountain in the southern region of Albania, 30 km east of Berat and northwest of Çorovoda.  The park has an area of ​​about 26,000 ha and an altitude of 800 m to 1000 m above sea level. It was declared a National Park in 1996 and is an integral part of the magnificent Tomorri mountain, which reaches a height of 2,416 m above sea level at its peak.
Its biodiversity is rich, with a variety of plants and animals. The area has over 950 different plant species, of which 6 are endemic and 11 subendemic, as well as over 200 species of plants with economic and medicinal value.  The main representatives of the vegetation are: Mediterranean bushes, pine, beech, oak, oregano, mountain tea, sage, etc. The area also has a very diverse wild life, which is represented by: brown bear, wolf, roe deer, swallow, boar and wild goat, eagle and many other animals.
 Inside this park, there are also geomonuments, hydromonuments, biomonuments and cultural monuments.  The most prominent tourist spots are: Sotira Waterfall, Bogova Waterfall, Tomorri Glaciers and Moraines, Kapinova Cave, etc.
The special feature of this mountain is that it is more known as a holy place, mainly by the Bektashi believers, who every year organize multiple pilgrimages for days on this mountain. But it is not only the belief in this holy place that attracts visitors.  many, also nature, geology, climate, relief and the whole area offers very favorable conditions for tourism, such as religious, cultural, natural and sports.
 Not forgetting the traditional cuisine and the hospitality that is reserved for visitors in every season on Mount Tomorri, the beauty that this Albanian gem presents has turned it into one of the most favorite destinations of local and foreign tourists.
