Dardhe-Xhyre

It is located in the District of Elbasan and in the district of Librazhd. The current area is 400.00 ha. PA with high biodiversity values, virgin forests dominated by beech, but other trees are also found. Endemic and subendemic plant. The area represents a combination of oak and ash forests. The forests are dominated by the oak (Quercus cerris) which is mixed with the oak (Quercus petraea) and in the damaged areas with the sorrel (Ostrya carpinifolia), the red juniper (Juniperus oxycedrus), etc. In the greenhouses created after the cutting of the oak trees, individuals of badhra (Asphodelus albus) spread massively, as well as the massive appearance of red juniper (Juniperus oxycedrus) and milkweed (Euphorbia myrsinites). Beech forests (Fagus sylvatica) in almost virgin condition. Geranium macrorrhizum, Asplenium trichomanes, Saxofraga paniculata, Athamantha macedonica, Achillea frasi, Origanum vulgare, Salvia glutinosa, Digitalis ferruginea, Tanacetum macrophyllum etc. are found in the crevices of the rocks. Core and important biocorridor of large mammals, gaining regional/Balkan value and importance. There is no management plan. Digitized borders include:

c)  In the South: Quota 1537.0 m (4450944.41L/4547320.26W), Kumbulla neck to the top of Guri i Varri i Lena (1773.5 m) (4449133.47L/4548777.71W);

d) In the West: Maja Guri i Varrit i Lena (1773.5 m) (4449133.47L/4548777.71V), elevation 1734.0 m, along the Bërzeshte forest to the point with coordinates (4448617.51L/4550743.60V).
